Mahin C.

Mahin C. is a Technical Lead in Research and Development at Scantist since May 2016, where responsibilities include leading the R&D function focused on data-driven application security and vulnerability management. Mahin serves as the lead principal investigator for a $1.3 million NRF National Cyber Security R&D grant focusing on Smart Binary-Level Vulnerability Assessment for Cyber-Attack Prevention. Prior to Scantist, Mahin was a Research Scholar at Nanyang Technological University from August 2011 to 2016, specializing in Cyber Security and Machine Learning, contributing to technology disclosures and responsibly disclosing unpatched vulnerabilities in the Apollo Linux kernel. Mahin's early career includes roles as a Software Engineer intern and Research Assistant, with a focus on evolutionary algorithms and swarm intelligence. Mahin holds a Ph.D. in Software Security and a BEng (Hons) in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.
