Hakkı Kaan Şimşek's work experience includes various roles in the field of data science and analytics.

Hakkı Kaan is currently working at Scantrust as the Head of Data since April 2023.

Prior to this, they worked at koza as a Data Architect | Consultant from November 2022 onwards. In this role, they were responsible for leveraging AWS services to build scalable infrastructure for productionizing models and designing data pipelines for large-scale data analysis. Hakkı Kaan also utilized ETL/ELT processes and analytics tools for effective data analysis and visualization.

Before joining koza, Hakkı Kaan Şimşek held multiple positions at Getir. Hakkı Kaan was a Data Science & Analytics Manager from January 2021 to November 2022, a Data Scientist & Team Lead from March 2020 to January 2021, and a Data Scientist from November 2018 to March 2020.

Hakkı Kaan'searliest work experience in the field of data science was at NETAş, where they worked as a Data Scientist from September 2017 to November 2018.

Hakkı Kaan Şimşek completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Boğaziçi University, where they studied from 2011 to 2017. During their time at Boğaziçi University, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant from 2016 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Hakkı Kaan Şimşek obtained certifications in the field of technology. Hakkı Kaan became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2022. Hakkı Kaan also achieved the distinction of being a Kernels Expert from Kaggle in January 2018.
