Ayanna Reed is a seasoned urban and regional planning professional with extensive experience in municipal and governmental planning roles. Currently serving as a Senior Planner at the Walton County Board of County Commissioners, responsibilities include reviewing site plans and conducting pre-application meetings. Previously, at the City of Boulder, as a City Planner, Ayanna conducted comprehensive reviews of various development documents and planning applications. Ayanna's experience also encompasses an Associate Planner position at the City of Longmont, where reports on population estimates and land development compliance were written. Further experience includes working as a Mitigation and Resilience Planner for ICF, focusing on workforce development in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and serving as a Community Planning Pathways Trainee at the Federal Transit Administration, where assistance with grant requests and NEPA compliance was provided. Ayanna holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Lehman College.
