David Alley

David Alley is the current Vice President of Schafer Driveline at Schafer Gear Works, Inc. Prior to this position, they spent 9 years and 2 months as Vice President of Schafer Industries, where they were responsible for managing the Driveline division and overseeing various business functions including sales, engineering, quality, sourcing and production. David also served as Sales and Marketing Manager for five Schafer Industries facilities, during which time they were responsible for achieving sales and profit growth objectives, identifying and developing new opportunities for strategic growth, and managing customer relations.

In their previous role as Product Manager at Ausco Products, Inc., David reported directly to the CEO and was part of the company staff. David managed a cross functional group for new product development, which included sales engineers, field service technicians, senior product engineers, product engineers and test lab technicians. In this role, they were responsible for meeting with customers to determine market potential for new products, developing market plans, overseeing product design and development, and qualifying potential sources. David also travelled internationally to Europe, Asia and South America to meet with customers during market research and product development.

David Alley has a degree from Ohio Northern University and another degree from The Ohio State University.
