Silvan Gisler

Silvan Gisler has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Silvan currently serves as the Creative Director at Schauspielhaus Zürich AG, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to this, they were responsible for Audience Development & Campaigning at the same company from August 2020 to July 2021.

Before joining Schauspielhaus Zürich AG, Silvan was the Co-Founder & Chief of Communication at Operation Libero from October 2014 to June 2020. Silvan also worked as a Freelance Contributor at Zürcher Regionalzeitungen (ZRZ) from August 2014 to April 2016.

Silvan's career includes roles such as a Freelance Journalist, Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Coucou - Kulturmagazin Winterthur, and Politics Editor at Der Landbote. Silvan also gained experience as a Project Assistant and fulfilled their civil service obligations at the National Youth Council of Switzerland (SAJV / CSAJ).

Throughout their career, Silvan has demonstrated their passion for communication, audience development, and journalism.

Silvan Gisler began their education in 2007 at the University of Zurich, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Allgemeine Geschichte. This program lasted until 2014. Following this, Silvan continued their studies at the same institution, enrolling in the Master of Arts (M.A.) program in Wirtschaftsgeschichte & Ökonomie in 2013. Silvan is expected to complete this degree in 2023.
