Product Designer at Schedulicity

Jen McKeon is a Senior Product Designer currently working for Schedulicity. Jen has over 14 years of experience in an array of industries, from design agencies to in-house creative teams at startups in fashion, travel, beauty, and tech. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Designer/Front-End Developer for Plex, Inc., where they partnered closely with marketing, creative director, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand strategy, business goals, timelines, planning, and carrying designs from concept to execution. Jen also lead and owned creative projects such as promotional landing pages, product launches, blog layouts, site enhancements, micro-sites, and emails. From 2010 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Designer + Lead Front-end Web Developer for The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., where they transformed product-driven and editorial creative initiatives into intuitive user interfaces for bumbleandbumble.com, salon network site, and other digital properties. Jen also built front-end experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and lead flash replacement initiatives and redesigned all modules such as top navigation, image carousels and video players coded in flash. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Web Designer/Developer for Travel Impressions, where they designed and developed wholesale promotional campaigns that provided solutions for tour operators and travelers, and held the lead designer and front-end development role for the redesign of the company's consumer website. Jen also created HTML and CSS assets with an emphasis on web standards and SEO, designed brand identities, HTML email templates, interactive microsites, landing pages, page templates, creative assets for marketing campaigns, and banner ads for 3 online properties and third party advertisers. In 2007, they worked as a Graphic Design Intern for NYC Fashion Designer/Wholesaler, where they photographed and retouched the Spring 2008 look book, and created patterns, repeats, and CAD drawings for garments.

Jen McKeon received their BA in Fine Arts from Hofstra University in 2007. Jen then attended New York University to study Web Page, Digital/Multimedia and Information Resources Design. Currently, they are enrolled in Memorisely to study UX and Product Design.
