Ivo Hedtke

Ivo Hedtke serves as the Head of Operations Research and Director of Operations Research at DB Schenker since September 2017, where responsibilities include product ownership of vehicle routing and bin packing applications, co-founding the Open Source Program Office, and developing solutions for vehicle routing and hub location problems. Hedtke has also lectured in Operations Research at SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences and IU International University of Applied Sciences, while holding a position as a Lehrbeauftragter at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Previous roles include research and teaching positions focused on algorithms and data structures at institutions such as the University of Osnabrueck and Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg. Hedtke holds a PhD in Informatics from Universität Osnabrück and a Diplom in Mathematics from Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
