Joakim Wånggren

Joakim Wånggren has extensive experience in the tech industry, currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Schibsted since April 2015, where responsibilities include providing technical leadership within the Product and Tech Foundation group and engaging in various projects as a Solutions Engineer. Prior to this role, Joakim was a Tech Lead and Staff Engineer focused on the development of the SPiD platform, now known as Schibsted account, emphasizing testing improvements, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, microservices architecture, and cost optimization in AWS. Joakim began in the domain of full stack development at Schibsted Payment AS from October 2011 to April 2015 and has held consulting positions at Netlight Consulting AB and Adaptive Media, alongside completing a Master’s thesis at PrimeKey Solutions AB related to cloud-based Public Key Infrastructure. Joakim holds a Master's Degree in Engineering and Media Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and has pursued studies in Digital Communication and Media at Monash University.
