Christian Aichinger

Christian Aichinger has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Christian is currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering at Schiebel since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the CTO at nowcast from May 2019 to February 2022. Christian also held various roles at UBIMET, including Core Software Development Manager from April 2017 to February 2022, Software Development Team Lead from August 2016 to March 2017, and Software Developer from August 2015 to July 2016.

Christian Aichinger began their education journey in 2002 at the University of Vienna, where they pursued a Master's Degree in Chemistry. In 2007, they briefly attended Lund University, focusing on Chemistry. From 2009 to 2015, Aichinger continued their studies at the University of Vienna, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry. After a break, they returned to the University of Vienna in 2021, this time specializing in Statistics and Machine Learning within the field of study.
