Carlos Martinez

Carlos Martinez has held various roles throughout their career. In 1999, they began as a Junior Area Controller at the Schindler Group. From 2001 to 2002, they served as the NWC Manager at Schindler Ltd, where they were responsible for developing and managing a Working Capital Reduction Program. Carlos then moved on to Schindler, S.A. in Spain, where they worked as a Controller from 2003 to 2007. In 2008, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Schindler Group, focusing on budget achievement, cost reduction, and team development. From 2009 to 2011, they took on the role of Interim Chief Financial Officer and Net Working Capital Manager at Schindler (Portugal), where they implemented balance sheet cleanup, change management, and net working capital improvement initiatives. In 2011, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Schindler CZ/SK, overseeing the merger of two entities and standardizing financial processes. Carlos then joined Schindler Group as the Lead Area Controller for the Zone Asia Pacific & Middle East from 2014 to 2017, and later served as the Lead Area Controller for Zone Americas at Schindler Elevator Corporation (U.S.) from 2017 to 2018. From 2018 to the present, they have held various positions at the Schindler Group, including Head of Area Controlling and Finance Responsible Zone Americas & Lead NWC Responsible, where they led finance actions, cash elevation initiatives, and supported growth and profitability targets. In 2020, they also became the President of the Board of Directors at Slade Industries Inc.
