Jonathan Derivaz

Jonathan Derivaz has a strong background in technical project management and leadership roles. Jonathan currently serves as the Head of Technical Project at Schindler Group, where they oversee the success of over 400 projects per year and leads a team of talented Project Managers. Prior to this, they worked as the Interim Chief Technology Officer at Alpicapture and as the Group Chief Executive Officer at Alpiconcept Engineering SA. Jonathan also has experience as a Technical Manager and Design Engineer at APCO Technologies SA, where they were responsible for the design and development of mechanical and electromechanical equipment. Jonathan began their career at KONE as a Mechanical Engineer, specializing in project management, mechanical design, and technical sales support. Earlier in their career, Jonathan worked as a Mechanical Designer at Technicad ingineering SA and AISA automation SIH Group.

Jonathan Derivaz completed an Executive MBA from IMD in 2023, focusing on FL Future Leaders - Executive Education, Management, and Leadership. Jonathan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, with a major in Design, from HES-SO Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale between 2015 and 2019. In 2020, they pursued another Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General, from Old Dominion University. Jonathan also earned a Certificat fédéral de capacité in dessinateur constructeur industriel from Centre de Formation Professionelle Sion from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, they achieved English language proficiency at the B2 level from Glasgow School of English in 2014 and at the A1 level from St-Giles School of English London in 2013.
