Simone Genovese

Simone Genovese has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Simone started their career at Diamond SA with an internship in 2006. Simone then moved to GF AgieCharmilles in 2007, where they worked in electrical engineering until 2009. Simone joined Schindler Group in 2009 and held various roles throughout the years. Simone worked as Industrialization and Manufacturing Engineering from 2009 to 2013. Simone then transitioned to Product Manager, responsible for the planning and execution of product development, from 2014 to 2017. After that, Simone became the Head of Electrical Industrialization - Europe, managing the electrical product portfolio and coordinating systems deliverables within Supply Chain Europe until 2020. Currently, Simone is the Head of Customised Electrical Solutions & Operations at Schindler Group, where they strategically manage the Engineering to Orders Business.

Simone Genovese obtained a Diplom Höhere Fachschule (HF) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Höhere Fachschule (HF) in Bellinzona (TI) from 2004 to 2006. In 2023, Simone began pursuing an Executive MBA from the University of Zurich, which is currently ongoing. Simone also holds additional certifications, including Finance for Non Financial Manager from Festo Consulting & Academy Italia in 2016, VET (Vocational Education and Training) Trainer from Centro di formazione per formatori Lugano in 2012, MTM-UAS from Fondazione ERGO-MTM Italia in 2012, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Management and Personal Skills Development from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland in 2010.
