Bruce Weinelt is the Vice President of Global Growth at Schmidt Futures. Bruce has over 20 years of experience in strategy and business development.

Bruce started their career at Motorola in 2005 as the Director of Strategy and Business Development. Bruce then moved to Ginkgo Management Consulting in 2008 as the Managing Director for Asia-Pacific. In 2010, they became an Independent Consultant and Senior Adviser for Deutsche Telekom & Roland Berger.

In 2012, they joined the World Economic Forum as the Head of Partner Development for North America & Europe and was a member of the Forum's North American Executive Team. Bruce left the Forum in 2022 to join Schmidt Futures.

At Schmidt Futures, Bruce is responsible for driving growth and scaling impactful programs. Bruce works with a team of talented people to identify and invest in new areas of opportunity, build partnerships, and drive strategic initiatives.

Bruce Weinelt completed a number of academic programmes tailored to the World Economic Forum Leadership Team at schools such as Executive Education in Leadership at INSEAD, Wharton, Columbia, and CEIBS. Bruce also completed an MBA exchange at IESE Business School. Furthermore, they hold an MBA from William & Mary and a MA in Management and French from University of St Andrews.
