Myeashea Alexander

Myeashea Alexander is the Director of Networking and Community Building for the Rise program.

Prior to Schmidt Futures, Myeashea was the Deputy Director of Impact and Design for Clinton Global Initiative University at the Clinton Foundation where she developed and led their year-round social impact and leadership curriculum and mentor program which focused on helping students and alumni develop practical skills and knowledge to lead positive social impact projects in their global communities.

Myeashea is also a trained creative professional and science communicator with expertise in anthropology, storytelling, and community building, and has honed her skills working for Etsy and Apple and interning at The Franklin Institute and the Smithsonian. She started The Rockstar Anthropologist blog and mobile bone lab to encourage public engagement with the sciences and to provide free hands-on learning experiences that include forensic anthropology, archaeology, and local history for under-resourced New York schools.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Culture and Media studies from The New School and a Master’s in Biological Anthropology specializing in forensic anthropology from City University of New York, Hunter.
