Bojan Boskovic started their work experience in 2008 as a Junior Software Engineer at Telvent DMS, where they developed and maintained a suite of Power Control System (PCS) applications. Bojan worked on applications such as Automatic Generator Control, Economic Dispatching, Load Shedding, and Forecasting, while also handling database management and UI solutions. Bojan held this position until 2012, when they became a Deputy Team Leader for the Power Control System team, still working on the development and maintenance of the PCS applications.
In 2012, Bojan Boskovic joined Schneider Electric Hub as a Software Engineer. In this role, they specialized in the Generation Management System (GMS), focusing on the development and maintenance of GMS applications and infrastructure. Bojan provided domain expertise and knowledge in developing new features and ensuring the reliability and stability of the energy supply. Bojan also worked closely with customers and internal developers, participating in design sessions, testing sessions, training, and understanding customer requirements.
Later, in 2016, Bojan Boskovic took on the role of Subject Matter Expert on the Generation Management System application suite at Schneider Electric Hub. Bojan continued to work with customers and developers, providing design expertise, knowledge, and insights into power control systems. This included understanding customer requests and providing relevant information to developers to ensure their work aligned with customer preferences. Bojan held this position until 2020.
Additionally, Bojan Boskovic worked as a Team Leader for the Power Control System team at Schneider Electric Hub. Bojan was responsible for organizing work and tasks within the team, ensuring the successful development and deployment of the Power Control System suite of applications. This suite focused on power functions and aimed to provide reliable and stable energy supply, energy production management, optimization, and load demand forecast. Bojan served as the Team Leader from 2013 to 2018.
In their most recent position at Schneider Electric Hub, starting in 2022, Bojan Boskovic worked as a Senior Software Engineer. Bojan specialized in the Ecostruxure Microgrid Advisor (EMA) software, which operates a Microgrid system to optimize the use of electrical resources and achieve economical gains. In this role, they developed the backend (API) using Java and the frontend (UI) using React.js. Bojan also prioritized software security and collaborated closely with Product Owners (POs) to provide optimal solutions.
Bojan Boskovic completed their education in a chronological order. Bojan first attended Technical High School Mihajlo Pupin in Bijeljina from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a high school degree in Computer Software Engineering.
Following that, from 2003 to 2009, they attended the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, Serbia. There, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering with a focus on SCADA, Computer Networks software development, and Embeded systems.
Additionally, Bojan Boskovic obtained a certification as a Scrum Alliance certified scrum master in May 2016 from Scrum Alliance.
