Jacob Rascon

Jacob Rascon is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in application engineering, automation, and education. Currently serving as an Application Engineer at Schneider Electric since May 2022, Jacob specializes in EcoStruxure™ Power Monitoring Expert. Previously, as an Automation & Controls Engineer at Tower Extrusions, Jacob led the design and implementation of over 20 SCADA projects to enhance aluminum extrusion processes. Jacob's teaching experience spans several years as a Manufacturing Instructor at Richland College and as a CAD, Robotics, Technology & Math Teacher at Uplift Education, where impactful skills were imparted to students. Jacob holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso, showcasing a solid educational foundation further complemented by roles at Texas Instruments, Nano Materials Integration Laboratory, and Engineered Science LLC. Jacob's career also includes entrepreneurial experience as the owner of ECONOCOMP, a personal computer repair business.
