Jaime Martinez

Jaime Martinez is the Founder & CEO of Schola, a student recruitment system for PreK-12 schools. Jaime founded Schola in 2015 and is focused on improving education outcomes by connecting families with their ideal schools and providing schools with services to source and enroll students. In 2017, Jaime participated in the LearnLaunch BOOST program as an Alumni, which helped him grow their startup. Jaime also served as an Alumni Ed-Tech Founder/CEO at SEED SPOT in 2016, where they received support and resources to succeed as a social entrepreneur. Prior to that, Jaime was a 6th Grade Teacher and Corps Member Advisor at Teach For America from 2009 to 2012. In 2013, they were a Fellow at The New Schools For Phoenix Fellowship, where they developed leadership skills and cultivated transformative school leaders.

Jaime Martinez has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Arizona State University. Jaime pursued a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the same university. Furthermore, Jaime has obtained an additional certification from the Stanford GSB Executive Education's Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative Education Program (SLEI-ED): Scaling your Venture, although the specific month and year of their certification are unknown.
