Brian Kirwan

Brian Kirwan is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in commercial finance, market access, and operations within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Commercial Finance & FP&A at Scholar Rock, Brian is responsible for creating the Commercial Finance function in preparation for the company’s first asset commercialization. Previously, at Seres Therapeutics, Brian led the Market Access functions for microbiome products, focusing on launch planning for a Phase 3 product. Earlier roles include Vice President at Menlo Therapeutics and Relypsa, where Brian spearheaded market access strategies and operational activities. Brian's career began at GlaxoSmithKline, where significant contributions were made in channel strategy and trade distribution. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from La Salle University, an MBA in Management from Rutgers Business School, and completion of the Executive Scholars Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
