Lisa Amaya Price

Lisa Amaya Price is the current Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Scholar Rock. Lisa has over fifteen years of experience in Human Resources and has held various leadership positions in HR at different companies.

Price started their career in 2007 as the Director of Human Resources at Weber Shandwick. Lisa then spent eight years at Biogen, where they became the Sr. Director of HR Business Leader in 2008. In 2016, they became the Organization & Talent Lead for Integration Office at Takeda. And finally, in 2019, they took on the role of Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Scholar Rock.

Price has been instrumental in leading and scaling Human Resources departments at various companies. At LGC, they established a scalable HR Operating Model with regional shared services and centers of expertise in total rewards, talent acquisition, and talent management. At Scholar Rock, they oversaw 40% headcount growth and built a high performing HR team. Lisa has also worked closely with boards and compensation committees to recruit and onboard new c-level talent, and has implemented scalable compensation practices to fuel future growth.

Lisa Amaya Price is a proven leader in the Human Resources field, with a wealth of experience in building and scaling HR departments. Lisa is currently leading the HR team at Scholar Rock, and is poised to continue their success in this role.

Lisa Amaya Price has a MBA in Global Management from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, a MA in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor from Simmons University, and a BA in Music from Bard College at Simon's Rock. Lisa also has a degree in Musicology and German from the University of Tübingen.

Their manager is Nagesh K. Mahanthappa, CEO & President. They are on a team with Heather Faulds - SVP, Regulatory Sciences & Quality, Erin Moore - Vice President, Finance, and Alan J. Buckler - Chief Scientific Officer.
