Shashi Mudunuri

Shashi Mudunuri currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of ScholarAI, a platform designed to accelerate research and science, since July 2023. Prior to this role, Shashi held the position of Entrepreneur in Residence at Springer Nature Group from November 2022 to June 2023, where support was provided for the integration of Research Square Company into Springer Nature and initiatives to promote open science. Shashi founded Research Square in May 2012 and led it as Chairman and CEO until its exit to Springer Nature in November 2022, with notable products including the world's largest preprint research platform and professional services like American Journal Experts. Earlier experience includes serving as CEO of American Journal Experts and as a Sales Engineer at Mark Logic Corporation. Shashi's education includes an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a BA in Computer Science and Philosophy from Duke University.
