Shobhan Panda

Shobhan Panda is a Quantitative Developer at Schonfeld since January 2023, having previously interned as a Quantitative Developer at Beacon Platform in mid-2022. In the early part of 2022, Shobhan served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for MATH 6635 - Numerical Methods in Finance at Georgia Institute of Technology and also held a position as a Graduate Assistant at Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, where responsibilities included creating the official QCF website. Prior experience includes working as a Technical Analyst at Citi, where Shobhan contributed to developing a PySpark framework for financial models and data management. A Global Markets Intern at Credit Suisse in 2017, projects involved testing internal controls and promoting Python for automation. Shobhan holds a Master of Science in Quantitative and Computational Finance from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, along with CFA Level 1 completion.
