Coaching and Coordination

The Coaching and Coordination Team at School District 197 is dedicated to enhancing educational quality and student achievement through specialized support and program development. This team includes instructional peer coaches, athletic coaches (JV Girls and Boys Tennis), and debate coaches, who provide targeted mentorship and coaching to students. Additionally, the curriculum and gifted education coordinators work to develop and oversee advanced academic programs, ensuring all students have access to challenging learning opportunities. The special education coordinator ensures that students with diverse learning needs receive appropriate support, while the educational equity coordinator focuses on fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment. Finally, the district assessment, data, and curriculum coordinator handles data-driven decision making to continually improve educational outcomes across the district.
