Brandon Carter

Brandon Carter has a diverse work experience in the performing arts industry. Brandon is currently working as the Theatre Arts Director at the School District of Indian River County since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Front Desk Agent at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott from 2019 to 2020. Additionally, they have held various roles such as Director and Drama Teacher at different educational institutions including Vero Beach High School Drama Department, Indian River State College, Lake Mary Preparatory School, and Treasure Coast High School. Brandon also has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Central Washington University. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Management Assistant and Management Intern at Riverisde Theatre Inc. and Riverside Theatre Inc., respectively. Overall, Brandon has gained a wealth of experience in teaching, directing, and managing roles within the theatre industry.

Brandon Carter earned their AA degree in Theatre from Indian River State College from 1999 to 2002. Later, they attended Avila University, where they obtained their BFA in Theatre, specializing in Acting, from 2002 to 2004. Brandon furthered their education at Central Washington University, from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Individual Studies, focusing on Theatre Directing.
