Adam Lewis

Adam Lewis is a STEM Specialist at The School District of Philadelphia, where responsibilities include providing K-8 students with hands-on education in science, technology, engineering, and math. As the DEI Committee Chair and School Technology Coordinator at Alexander Adaire School, Adam also seeks to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion within the educational environment. In addition, Adam serves as a Senior Teaching Fellow for the Alliance for Decision Education, focusing on incorporating decision-making education into K-12 classrooms. Previous experiences include being a STEM Teaching Fellow with the Philadelphia Education Fund, teaching science and special education at the NYC Department of Education, and conducting education research at the University of Pennsylvania, among other roles. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in Special Education from The City College of New York, and a Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate from Saint Joseph's University.
