Mal Davis

Mal Davis serves as the Executive Director of Recruitment for The School District of Philadelphia, beginning in October 2023, after previously holding positions including Director of Strategy Implementation. In the role of Stoneleigh Emerging Leader Fellow at the Center for Black Educator Development from September 2021 to October 2023, Mal focused on enhancing equity in the recruitment and retention of Black educators. Past experience includes Director of Talent at KIPP Philadelphia Schools, where Mal was instrumental in increasing teacher diversity and managing the recruitment process across multiple schools. Mal has a rich background in recruitment and partnerships from roles at Selected, Inc., Uncommon Schools, and Citizen Schools, along with early experience in education and sales, supported by a Bachelor's degree in Business from Full Sail University.
