Dirk Ossenbrueggen

Dirk Ossenbrueggen has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and security. Dirk is currently the Head of Information Governance & Security at SCHOTT, a position they have held since December 2017. Prior to that, they were the Head of IT Security & Compliance at SCHOTT from April 2016 to November 2017. Before joining SCHOTT, Ossenbrueggen worked at secunet Security Networks AG as the Deputy Department Manager from January 2007 to March 2016. Dirk also served as a Network Specialist at SOKA-BAU from April 2004 to December 2006. Earlier in their career, Ossenbrueggen worked as an IT Consultant at Linux and Security Experts GmbH from October 2003 to March 2004. Dirk also held positions at GIC GmbH / IMS AG as the Deputy Manager of Telecommunications & Communications Applications from March 1996 to August 2003, and at IMS GmbH as a Software Developer from April 1994 to February 1996. Ossenbrueggen began their career as a Software Developer at Dornier GmbH in January 1990 and worked there until March 1994.

Dirk Ossenbrueggen obtained their Dipl.-Ing. (FH) degree in Technische Informatik from Fachhochschule Wedel from 1985 to 1989. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including ISO 27001 Auditor/Lead Auditor from TÜV Rheinland in 2015, Zertifizierter Projektmanager (GPM) IPMA Level C from PM-ZERT in 2012, ITIL Foundation from TÜV Akademie GmbH in 2005, and HP OpenView Certified Consultant in 2002.
