Aidan Twomey

Aidan Twomey has a strong background in software development and engineering. Aidan currently serves as an Engineering Lead at Schroders since April 2022. Prior to their current role, Twomey worked as a Senior Developer at Swiss Re from June 2021 to July 2022. Before that, they were a Consultant at Amido from June 2019 to June 2021. Twomey also gained experience as a Software Developer at Runpath from April 2018 to June 2019, and as a Software Developer at ASOS.com from September 2017 to April 2018. Aidan began their career as a Software Developer at 7digital from November 2016 to September 2017. Twomey also held positions as a Quant Developer at BNP Paribas from January 2016 to November 2016, as an Euro ABS Developer at Barclays from January 2015 to December 2015, and as an Application Developer at Commerzbank AG from October 2013 to December 2015. Aidan started their professional career as a Senior Analyst in Risk IT at Mitsubishi UFJ Securities from August 2012 to October 2013.

Aidan Twomey completed an M.Sc in Mathematical Modelling & Scientific Computing from the University of Oxford in 2006-2007. They also have additional certifications from Microsoft and Amazon, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate (obtained in December 2021), Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (obtained in October 2020), AWS Certified Developer - Associate (obtained in 2018), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (obtained in July 2020), and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (obtained in April 2021).
