Alison Rankin

Alison Rankin has an extensive work experience in the real estate and corporate advisory sector. Alison started their career as a Graduate Surveyor at Weatherall Green and Smith in 1997 and later joined CB Richard Ellis as a Global Corporate Advisory Group Senior Surveyor. In 2004, they became the UK Acquisition and Disposal Manager at Abbey National Plc. Alison then worked as an Executive Director at Roeford Properties Plc from 2006 to 2008. Alison later joined Ladygrey Property Advisors as a Director and served until 2012 when they joined BP as the Director of Group Real Estate, EMEA. Most recently, they have been working at Schroders as the Global Head of Workplace Services since 2018.

Alison Rankin completed their education at various institutions. Alison obtained a Masters in Land Economy (MLE) from the University of Aberdeen in 1996-1997. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Economic and Social History with an MA (Hons) degree from the University of Glasgow, from 1992 to 1996. In 2000, Alison obtained a certification from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Additionally, they have obtained two additional certifications, including one in Sustainable Real Estate from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and another in Sustainability Leadership and Corporate Responsibility from the London Business School in 2022 and 2020, respectively.
