Chris Hamer

Chris Hamer, CFA has a range of work experience in various roles. Chris started their career at Schroders in 2016 as a Data Scientist, where they worked on the Data Insights Unit team. Chris utilized advanced analytics capabilities to provide insights to Schroders Investment teams. Prior to this role, they were part of the Schroders Graduate Scheme, gaining experience in roles such as Data Scientist and Data Engineer.

Before joining Schroders, Chris worked as a Personal Tutor from 2011 to 2016. Chris tutored GCSE and A-Level students in subjects like maths, physics, chemistry, and biology. Through their tutoring, they received excellent reviews.

Additionally, Chris has research experience from their time at the University of Leeds. In 2014 and 2013, they worked as a Research Intern, gaining valuable skills in research methodologies.

Chris Hamer, CFA holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Exploration Geophysics from the University of Leeds, which was obtained from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Physics (MPhys) degree in Theoretical Physics, also from the University of Leeds, from 2011 to 2015. Chris Hamer also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute, obtained in 2021.
