Ya Gao

Ya (Grace) GAO has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. Ya (Grace) started their career in 2013 as a Financial Advisor Assistant at FDL Financial Services, Inc. Ya (Grace) then interned at Schroders in the CEO Office before moving on to an Investment Banking Internship at Nomura International plc. In 2014, they worked as an Investment Initiatives Intern at Fidelity Worldwide Investment and later joined BNP Paribas as part of the Institutional Investor Coverage team. Ya returned to Schroders in 2015 and has since held positions as China Business Development Manager, Business Development Vice President, Business Development Senior Vice President, and currently serves as the China Business Director.

Ya (Grace) GAO has a strong educational background in finance and mathematics. Ya (Grace) earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics (Double Major) and a Bachelor of Economics degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Peking University in the years 2009 to 2013. Following that, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Finance, General at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2013 to 2014. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained the Candidate, CFA Level II from CFA Institute in 2015 and holds the RA 1 & 4 & 9 qualification from HKMA. Furthermore, they also obtained the Qualification Certificate of Securities of China from the Securities Association of China in 2012.
