David Giesen

David Giesen currently serves as a Director and has held various senior roles, including Senior Principal Scientist, Principal Scientist II, and Principal Scientist at Schrodinger since January 2010. Prior to this, David Giesen worked as a Computational Chemist at Eastman Kodak from March 1997 to January 2010, specializing in material design, quantum chemistry, OLED device modeling, and python scripting. David Giesen earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota between 1992 and 1997, and holds a B.S. in Chemistry and Computer Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth, completed in 1992. Additionally, David Giesen attended the University of North Dakota, where a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Computer Science was earned in 1990.
