Archile Yempela Tiam

Archile Yempela Tiam is a Test Engineer at SCHROTH Safety Products since September 2022, previously serving as an Application Engineer for seatbelt systems at Joyson Safety Systems from October 2019 to August 2022. Responsibilities included managing Porsche-specific projects, developing test plans, cost calculations, and performing crucial validations related to safety belt retraction and latching mechanisms. Notably, crash tests were conducted using TNO Dummies in accordance with ECE R16 standards. Prior experience includes a master thesis at Continental focused on measuring transverse forces in gasoline injection pumps and optimizing lubrication surfaces, along with an internship in Powertrain Function & Development. Tiam holds a Master of Science in Systemtechnik from Hochschule Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Yaounde 1.
