Philipp van Gels

Philipp van Gels has extensive legal experience, currently serving as a Rechtsreferendar at Schultze & Braun since June 2016, where participation in various legal workshops and close collaboration with the team on customized solutions for clients is highlighted. Additional roles include Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter, focusing on commercial, corporate, civil procedure, insolvency, and data protection law, and serving as a student assistant. Philipp has also held the position of Referent Social Media at the Cartellverband der kath. deutschen Studentenverbindungen, where a new corporate design and content strategy for social media were developed. Recent training at the Staatskanzlei des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen and the Oberlandesgericht Oldenburg, combined with internships at Haus & Grund Deutschland and Bankhaus Neelmeyer, complements a strong educational background, including a Master of Laws from Ruhr University Bochum and a Staatsexamen from the University of Bremen.
