Scott Davis has extensive work experience in the field of recruitment and human resources. Scott started their career as a Program Manager at Allegheny Valley School in 1975 and moved on to become a Clinical Specialist and Tier 1 Trainer at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, UPMC in 1977. In 1987, they worked as a Training Coordinator at Rich Hinch and Associates before joining the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 1989 as a Recruitment Manager. At UPMC, they were responsible for managing recruitment efforts for multiple sites and coordinating with various departments and community-based job fairs. In 2004, Scott worked as an HR Consultant at Chandler and Partners and later as an HR/Staffing Consultant at Surge Point in 2005. Scott then joined Schwans Food Company as a Lead Regional Field Recruiter, where they were responsible for recruitment functions and training regional managers.

Scott Davis attended the University of Pittsburgh from 1986 to 1989, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management. Prior to that, they attended Point Park University from 1972 to 1975, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Psychology, Industrial Psychology, and Sociology. Scott's education before university was completed at Fox Chapel from 1967 to 1971. No degree or field of study is specified for this period.
