Johnathan Lubin, Ph.D.

Johnathan Lubin, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they began working as the Director of Business Development at Science Exchange, a SaaS enabled R&D marketplace. Johnathan also took on the role of Senior Manager, Business Development at the same company. Additionally, they became an Associate Member at Pavilion in 2021. In 2019, they worked as a Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). From 2013 to 2016, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies/UC San Diego, where they used genetic and biochemical approaches in budding yeast to better understand the regulatory mechanisms that dictate how telomerase functions in vivo. From 2016 to 2021, they were the Co-Founder of Cloaked, LLC. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Research Assistant II at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies.

Johnathan Lubin, Ph.D. has an extensive educational background. Johnathan obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology, General from San Diego State University in 2009. Johnathan then attended the University of San Diego in 2004-2005 without obtaining a degree. In 2013, they earned a Certificate in Business Management, Finance Specialization from UC San Diego Extended Studies. Johnathan also obtained a Micro MBA from the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management in 2014 and an Innovation Management - Level 2: Innovation Master from the Global Innovation Management Institute in 2017. In 2019, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology from the University of California, San Diego.
