Nicole Tinfo has a diverse work experience with a focus on clinical research and operations. Nicole is currently a Senior Director of Clinical Research at Science 37, where they lead resourcing efforts and collaborates with various teams. Prior to this, they held the role of Director of Clinical Operations at the same company, overseeing a team and ensuring project knowledge and processes were maintained.
Before joining Science 37, Nicole worked at Syneos Health Clinical Solutions, where they held several positions of increasing responsibility. As the Director of Strategic Alliance Operations Management, they implemented standardization and change management programs, as well as responded to sponsor requested process changes. As an Associate Director, they oversaw a team of Project Coordinators and Managers and played a key role in process development and resource allocation. Nicole also served as a Senior Manager and Manager, overseeing Project Coordinators and Project Specialists, respectively.
Earlier in their career, Nicole worked as a Regulatory Associate at Wake Research, managing regulatory documents for multiple trials and sites. Nicole also served as the Director of Research and Project Manager at Family Health Ministries, reviewing study proposals and budgets and managing clinical trials in women's and children's healthcare.
Nicole's work experience also includes a role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the US Environmental Protection Agency, where they conducted research on reproductive toxicology. Nicole began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University, conducting experiments and investigating the role of PPAR in the rodent CL.
Nicole Tinfo completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Massachusetts Amherst between 1998 and 2002. Nicole then pursued further education at Iowa State University, where they received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physiology, General from 2002 to 2007.
Apart from their formal education, Nicole Tinfo has also obtained several additional certifications. In June 2014, they obtained a Regulatory Affairs Certification (US) from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS). In March 2023, they acquired two certifications: "How to Speak with Effortless Confidence" and "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers," both from LinkedIn.
