Martin Grundtvig

Martin Grundtvig has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple roles and industries. Martin began their career in 1989 as an Assisting Manager at McDonald's and later worked as a Branch Manager at JYSK from 1992 to 1995. In 1997, they joined DDI Communications as an Account Manager and then moved on to Getronics ApS as a Team Leader in Corporate Business Development in 2000.

From 2000 to 2003, Martin was a Co-founder of Mobile Identity, a strategy and innovation company that focused on social innovation and business-oriented usage of web and mobile technology.

Martin then joined IBM in 2000 and held various roles that included being the Nordic Business Unit Executive for IBM Tivoli Software, the Country Manager for IBM's IT-security Group in Denmark, and the Business Unit Manager for IBM Lotus and IBM WebSphere Software in Denmark.

In 2008, they became a Sales Manager for IT Outsourcing in Denmark and later worked as a Business Unit Executive in the Retail and New Client Unit at IBM. From 2014 to 2016, Martin served as the Country Head of IBM's Cloud Business in Denmark.

After leaving IBM, they co-founded JoinMyBox Group in 2014 and held the position of Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer. JoinMyBox Group focused on Cloud Digital Asset Management and professional photography services for schools and events.

Most recently, from 2016 onwards, Martin has been working as the Regional Sales Director at ScienceLogic.

In 2021 and 2022, they obtained a Certificate in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School Online.

From 1995 to 1996, they attended Aarhus University, where they studied Political Science.

In 1990 and 1991, they attended Aarhus Business College and earned a Merconom degree, specializing in Diplomas in Management, Development of Employees, and Administration of Employees.

From 1989 to 1990, they attended Aarhus Handelsskole and obtained a Diploma in Accounting and Finance.

From 1983 to 1986, they attended Marselisborg Gymnasium, completing their high school education with a focus on the Mathematical line.

In addition to their formal education, they hold a certification as an IBM Certified Interviewer, obtained in 2013 from IBM.
