Paul Fischer

Paul brings over 18 years of progressive and dynamic experience that has spanned high level leadership roles both in the United States Marine Corps and Fortune 500 Medical Technology companies. Paul has held executive leadership roles at Boston Scientific and Medtronic, where he was directly responsible for the successful launch of novel interventional products, such as the Subcutaneous Implantable Defibrillator (SICD), the Watchman Left Atrial Appendage Closure Device, and the CoreValve Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacment (TAVR) system. Prior to joining Scientia, Paul was as a Senior Director for Medtronic where he was responsible for the launch, expansion, and revenue growth for the company’s Structural Heart portfolio. Before transitioning into the Medical Technology field, Paul served as a U.S. Marine Corps Officer and had the distinct privilege to lead Marines during multiple combat deployments in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Paul is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and holds advanced degrees from Harvard Business School and Pennsylvania State University.
