Scotty Blechman began their career in 2010 as an Intern at Black Rocket Productions. In 2011, they took on the role of Bagger at Delicious Orchards. In 2012, they became a Summer Camp Counselor at Brookdale Community College. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Delicious Orchards as a Cashier. In 2014, they took on the role of Research Intern at Rutgers University in the lab of Dr. Peter D. Yurchenco. From 2015 to 2019, they held various roles at Northeastern University, Ra Pharmaceuticals, Biogen, and Scilligence. At Northeastern University, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher and Research Assistant in the lab of George O'Doherty. At Ra Pharmaceuticals, they were a Chemistry Co-op in the small molecule drug development group. At Biogen, they worked as a Co-Op in Neurology Research and Tissue Injury and Fibrosis Research. Finally, at Scilligence, they held the roles of Manager, Software Development, Senior Software Developer, and Software Developer. Scotty was the lead developer and product owner for RegMol, a tool for registration, uniqueness check, and bioassay data of small molecules, macromolecules, and more with full support of HELM, the Hierarchical Editing Language for Macromolecules.
Scotty Blechman obtained a High School Diploma from High Technology High School in 2014. Scotty then attended Northeastern University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2018 and a Master of Science in Chemistry in 2019.
