Arnav Chakravarthy has had a diverse range of work experiences. Arnav is currently the Chief Executive Officer at SciLynk, where they are developing an AI-powered research platform. Arnav successfully raised $8.5k on Kickstarter for the project and received media coverage from outlets such as ABC7 News, Thrive Global, and Yahoo News.
In 2022, Arnav worked as a Research Intern at Stanford University's Howard Y. Chang Lab. Here, they focused on studying the role of BRD4 isoforms in ecDNA hub aggregation and segregation.
Arnav also has experience in leadership roles within the California FBLA organization. In 2023, they were elected as the State Secretary and served on the CAFBLA Student State Executive Board. Arnav'sresponsibilities included improving middle school engagement, increasing intra-section growth, and maintaining transparency as part of the Member Outreach committee.
Additionally, Arnav held positions in the Bay Section FBLA, starting in 2022. Arnav served as an Ex-officio on the Bay Section Executive Board, assisting with planning conferences and events for over 400 members. Arnav also served as the Vice President of Outreach & Activities, where they communicated with various chapters and facilitated the onboarding of disbanded chapters, contributing to a 33% growth in the Bay Section Leadership Conference.
Prior to these roles, Arnav was involved with the Homestead FBLA, where they served as the Software Ventures Chair and the Executive Technology Chair. Arnav developed and maintained the Homestead FBLA website and database and mentored technical competitors. Arnav also managed and analyzed competition data for a 500+ member database using Google Firebase.
Arnav Chakravarthy completed their high school education from 2020 to 2024 at Homestead High School. Arnav obtained their High School Diploma during this time. In addition to their high school education, Arnav also acquired several certifications. In January 2022, they obtained a certification in Industrial Biotechnology from The University of Manchester. Subsequently, in April 2023, they received a certification in Bloodborne Pathogens from Stanford University. Finally, in May 2023, Arnav acquired a certification in Flow Cytometry - Analyzer from Stanford Cancer Institute.
