Karla Micka

Karla Micka has extensive experience in human resources and mentoring. Karla currently serves as the Lead Ambassador for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at SCORE Mentors since February 2023. Prior to that, they were the Southeast Regional Ambassador for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at SCORE since October 2018. Karla also has experience at Space Coast SCORE, where they held various roles including Certified Mentor, Chapter Co-Chair, Chapter Chair, and Vice Chair from 2016 to 2021. Before joining SCORE, they worked as an Independent Human Resources Professional from July 2015 to February 2023. Karla's earlier career includes roles as Director of Human Resources - Air Operations and Sr. HR Manager at DynCorp International from 2007 to 2015, as well as Sr. Manager of Human Resources & Information Management at Dictaphone from 1993 to 2005.

Karla Micka obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the Florida Institute of Technology. Karla completed this degree from 1977 to 1981. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Mentor from SCORE Mentors in August 2016.
