Senior Interaction Designer at Scorpion Design

Adrian Dickey has a diverse work experience in various design and managerial roles. From 2021, Adrian has been working as a Senior Interaction Designer at Scorpion, where they collaborate with teams to create engaging and effective UX motion and IxD animation interaction guidelines for desktop and mobile applications. Prior to that, from 2012, Adrian founded and served as the Design Director at AMD Creative Design, focusing on creating strategic brand identities and experiences for innovative companies. From 2015 to 2021, Adrian worked as a Senior Brand/Visual Designer at Next Gear Solutions, directing digital and print design, campaigns, brand development, and new product UI visual design experiences. Earlier in their career, Adrian worked as a Graphic Designer for Delaware Beach Life Magazine, where they led the concept and creation of digital and print advertising design collateral. They also briefly worked as a Graphic Designer for John Wind Maximal Art, overseeing on-brand marketing and design campaign collateral. Adrian's earlier experience includes a managerial role as the Manager at Proud Larry's from 2007 to 2013.

Adrian Dickey's education history includes several degrees and certifications. In 2000, they started their undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi - School of Business Administration, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing in 2004. Following that, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued further education at the University of Mississippi - School of Art, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Graphic Design. In 2014, Adrian attended the Delaware College of Art and Design, where they received a Professional Certification in Graphic Design. Later, in 2017, they attended the Nashville Software School and obtained a Professional Certification in UI/UX for Digital Product Design.

In addition to their formal education, Adrian Dickey has also earned several certifications. In April 2021, they obtained the certification "Building a Coaching Culture: Improving Performance Through Timely Feedback" from LinkedIn. Adrian also obtained certifications in "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging" and "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn in the same month and year.
