Aranya Thambiappah

Aranya Thambiappah has extensive experience in both the financial and arts sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Business Analyst at Scotiabank since August 2018, Aranya oversees testing requirements, process documentation, and the transition of changes in the Global Wealth Management division. Previous roles include Business Analyst in Market Data Services, where responsibilities encompassed resolving vendor issues and managing data permissions, as well as a Customer Service Representative, focusing on product sales and customer engagement. In addition to a successful banking career, Aranya co-founded Veena Thambaps and performs as a freelance musician, showcasing classical training on the South Indian stringed instrument, the Veena. Educational achievements include an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto Scarborough with a focus on Public Policy and International Development Studies.
