Dan Donnelly

Dan Donnelly is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer at Scotiabank since August 2014. Donnelly has held various senior roles at Scotiabank, including SVP Compliance for Canadian Banking and Global Wealth Management, and Vice-President in International Wealth Management. Previously, Donnelly was Vice-President and Associate General Counsel at CIBC, leading a team that provided extensive legal guidance in wealth management and regulatory matters. Additionally, Donnelly has served as Chair of the Legal and Compliance Working Group at The Investment Funds Institute of Canada and was a partner at Torys LLP, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Dan Donnelly holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Western University.
