Scottish Ambulance Community First Responder at Scottish Ambulance Service

Audrey Wood is a highly experienced healthcare professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Senior Practice Nurse and Nurse Prescriber at NHS since May 2004, Audrey also contributes to the Scottish Ambulance Service as a Community First Responder since October 2004. Additionally, Audrey provides volunteer services with Sandpiper Wildcat, responding to cardiac arrest emergencies in Grampian since January 2017. Recognized as the Citizen of the Year by the Pride of Aberdeen in November 2016, Audrey has previously held nursing roles at Gilbert Road Medical Group, Albyn Hospital, and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, with a strong focus on chronic disease management and patient care. Audrey's extensive educational background includes studies at the Aberdeen Royal College of Nursing, Robert Gordon University, and the University of Stirling.
