Gary Bowie

Gary Bowie is an experienced Inward Investment Specialist at Scottish Development International since October 2018, focusing on aiding international companies in establishing and expanding operations in Scotland, particularly in the financial and business services sectors. A strong emphasis is placed on enhancing customer experience and supporting global business services centers. Gary has held various roles at Scottish Enterprise since June 2005, including Senior Project Executive in Financial Services, Management Information Executive, and Globalscot Co-ordinator. Gary holds a Diploma in Local Economic Development from the University of Glasgow and a degree in Business Economics from the University of the West of Scotland, complemented by foundational education at Greenock Academy.
