Dimitrios Kossyvakis

Dimitrios Kossyvakis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cable engineering and research and development. Currently serving as a Senior Cable Engineer at ScottishPower since December 2022, Dimitrios previously held multiple key roles at Hellenic Cables from April 2016 to November 2022, including Associate Principal R&D Engineer and Submarine Cables Engineering Group Team Leader. Prior to that, Dimitrios worked as a Cable Design Engineer in both the Submarine Cables and High and Extra High Voltage Onshore Cables Engineering Groups. Early career experience includes the position of Site Engineer at Kathetos S.A. from June 2006 to June 2009. Dimitrios holds a Diploma (MEng) in Electrical and Computer Engineering, an MSc in Automation Systems, and a DEng in Mining & Metallurgical Engineering, all from the National Technical University of Athens.
