Fabio Spinato

Fabio Spinato is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at ScottishPower since June 2022, Fabio oversees the East Anglia Hub project, which involves the deployment of up to 263 next-generation turbines in the southern North Sea. Previously, Fabio held various key positions including Business Development Manager at Enertechnos, Electrical Engineering Manager at Cubico Sustainable Investments, and Project Manager at Statkraft, where Fabio led significant electrical infrastructure projects. Fabio also has experience as a Work Package Manager and Consultant Electrical Engineer at Forewind and Xero Energy, respectively, focusing on offshore wind grid connection projects. Fabio’s academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Engineering from Durham University and advanced training in Thermonuclear Fusion Technology and Plasma Engineering.
