Richard Darbyshire

Richard Darbyshire has extensive experience in salmon farming, having worked at Scottish Sea Farms since April 1999 in various positions, including Regional Production Manager for the Shetland Isles, Northern Isles, and Orkney, where responsibilities included overseeing daily operations. Prior to this, Richard held the role of Site Manager at multiple seawater sites along the west coast of Scotland from 1999 to 2008. Earlier career experience includes serving as Site Supervisor at Hydro Seafood GSP from April 1998 to April 1999 and as Assistant Manager and Graduate Management Trainee at Marine Harvest from April 1990 to April 1998. Educational background includes a BSc (Hons) in Biological & Biochemical Science from The University of Salford, completed between 1986 and 1989.
