Melanie Carroll possesses extensive experience in information security, IT auditing, and database administration, with a strong background in cybersecurity training and competition execution. Currently serving as a Volunteer at CWR Warriors Inc since June 2023 and as a Wine Consultant for Scout & Cellar since April 2020, Melanie has previously held positions such as Senior Information Security Analyst at the Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security at The University of Texas at San Antonio and Senior IT Auditor at USAA and Southwest Airlines. With a BBA in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at San Antonio, Melanie's early career included roles as a Database Administrator/Webmaster at Hughes Training, Inc./Raytheon and MIS Analyst at Citicorp.
